SAUSAGE and TORTELLINI with CREAMY BASIL ALFREDO SAUCE

PREP TIME: 5 Min | COOK TIME: 30 Min | TOTAL TIME: 35 Min
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 Bratwursts or Sausage in casing
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 jar of mushroom pieces (or fresh)
- 1 jar Bertolli Basil Alfredo Sauce
- 1 package refridgerated cheese tortellini
- Shredded Parmesan cheese (I use fresh parm and shred)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat oil in pan
- Open one end of sausage casing and pinch meat out into small balls (you can form into small meatballs if you want)
- Add small balls of sausage meat to pan and cook til done
- Add mushrooms
- While meat is cooking, cook tortellini according to package directions.
- Drain tortellini and return to pot
- Add Alfredo sauce and stir to coat
- Add in meat and mushrooms and stir
- Cook on low to heat together
- Serve in bowls and top with parmesan cheese
VARIATIONS:
- Use ground meat instead of forming sausages into meatballs
- Use any alfredo sauce and add your own herbs
